How To Cook Halibut – Easy Pan Seared Halibut Recipe



2 Halibut Steaks
Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Clove Garlic minced
2 lemons (juiced)

  1. Season your Halibut with salt and pepper then add to a plastic storage freezer bag
  2. Add olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice to taste to the bag
  3. Seal the bag, removing all air from the bag, and allow it to sit in your refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour
  4. Coat the bottom of your skillet with olive oil and allow it to heat
  5. Sear halibut on each side for three minutes
  6. Brush marinade on top as cooking or pour into skillet
  7. Optional, drop in 1/4 cup of white wine while cooking
  8. Enjoy!

6 Large Apples Red or Green
3 Smaller Apples For Filling
1 Tbsp. Apple Butter
1 Tbsp. Melted Butter
1 Tbsp. Regular Sugar
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Lemon Juice, Nutmeg, Cinnamon to taste
1 Store bought pie crust
1 Egg beaten for Egg wash

  1. With a large spoon remove center and core of 6 large apples, chop of removed pieces
  2. Peel smaller apples and cut into small chunks for filling
  3. In a large bowl mix both sugars, all spices, lemon juice, butter and apple butter with apples
  4. Scoop filling into your gutted apples
  5. Cut pie crust into strips to cover apples in crisscross fashion
  6. Apply egg wash to crust
  7. Back in a 375 degree oven until crust is brown and apples soft

Two awesome Clam Recipes in one video! Clams are one of my favorite foods and I like to prepare them many different ways. These two recipes rate pretty high on my favorite list! 🙂 My Drunken clams, have a White Wine based sauce and my Drunker clams a Tequila Chorizo based sauce! So good!

Drunken Ingredients:

1 tbsp. butter
2-3 cloves chopped garlic
1 ½ Cup Dry White Wine
½ Cup Clam Juice
Lemon Juice to taste
2 chopped shallots
1-2 Dozen Clams
Chopped Scallion for garnish

  • Scrub clams under cold water.
  • Melt Butter in pan and add all chopped ingredients.
  • Let simmer until shallots start to become translucent.
  • Add clams, cover and cook on medium high heat until clams open.
  • Garnish with green onion.

Drunker Ingredients:

1 tbsp. butter
1 Whole Chopped Green Pepper
1 Chopped Chili Pepper
½ Cup Clam Juice
½ Cup Tequila
2-3 Cloves Chopped Garlic
1 Whole chopped White Onion
2 Small logs chopped Chorizo (about 1 Cup)
Lime Juice (1/2 Lime)
1-2 Dozen Clams

  • Scrub Clams under cold water.
  • Chop all ingredients.
  • Melt Butter in pan and add all chopped ingredients. Let simmer until peppers, onions are getting softer.
  • Add clams, cover and cook on medium high heat until clams open.
  • Enjoy!
