- 1 lb. ziti
- 1 large container of ricotta cheese
- Italian spices (garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, parsley, salt & pepper)
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook ziti as directed on package.
In a large mixing bowl combine ricotta with Italian spice blend.
Add parmesan cheese.
Add mozzarella and mix well.
Coat the bottom of a 13 x 9 casserole dish with marinara sauce.
Add ricotta cheese mixture.
Cover with marina sauce and begin the layering again, following the same pattern (ziti, ricotta, sauce).
Cover the top of the sauce with remaining mozzarella.
Cover the casserole dish with tin foil and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Remove tin foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese begins to bubble.
