Pineapple Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. sesame oil

1 lb. chopped/minced bacon

1 red onion diced

1 bell pepper diced

3 cloves garlic minced

1 cup frozen peas

½ cup soy sauce

2 cups pineapple chunks

1 bag 90 second steamable rice

Chopped green onions

Directions:

  1. Add sesame oil to pan. 
  2. Add bacon and cook for a few minutes until bacon begins to crisp.
  3. Add onion and sauté.
  4. Add bell pepper.
  5. Add garlic and frozen peas and stir.
  6. Allow to cook for a few minutes until peppers begin to soften.
  7. Add soy sauce and mix well.
  8. Add pineapple chunks.
  9. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes and then add rice and stir.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions (scallions).
