Broccoli and Cheddar Cheese Roll

Broccoli and Cheddar Cheese is one of life's most perfect matches! Wrap up it up in puff pastry and you have perfection! This Broccoli Cheddar Roll recipe couldn't be easier and only takes a few simple ingredients you likely have at home. If you are fatigued with cooking for yourself through quarantine or looking to slip broccoli into your kid's diet, this recipe is the way to go! All you need is a bag of frozen broccoli, cheddar cheese, one sheet of puff pastry and egg to seal the deal. Trust me, you will find yourself making this Broccoli Cheddar Roll again and again!


1 Puff pastry sheet

1 egg (beaten)

1 bag steamable broccoli

1 bag shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Thaw puff pastry and lay out on baking sheet covered with parchment paper
  3. Brush puff pastry with egg wash
  4. Cook steamable broccoli as per the instructions on the package
  5. Break up cooked broccoli into smaller pieces
  6. Layer broccoli on puff pastry
  7. Layer cheddar cheese on top of broccoli
  8. Beginning with side closest to you, roll puff pastry into a roll
  9. Brush outside of puff pastry with egg wash
  10. Cook at 400 degrees for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown
