Creamy Pinto Dip Recipe

A creamy, homemade pinto dip recipe that is easy to make and delicious. You can substitute the pinto beans for black beans if you prefer. This fun and tasty dip is perfect to whip up when using up your pantry items or if you've overstocked up your cabinets. Dip chips, veggies or spread onto crackers and enjoy!

Ingredients

Olive Oil

1 can – pinto beans (strained)

1 red onion diced

2 tbsp minced garlic

¼ cup red wine vinegar

Chili powder to taste

Cumin to taste

Smoked paprika to taste

Tortilla chips

Directions

  1. Add olive oil to a medium fry pan
  2. Add pinto beans
  3. Add red onion and minced garlic
  4. Sauté until onions are translucent approximate 5 minutes
  5. Drizzle with wine vinegar
  6. Add in spices
  7. Cook a few more minutes until all flavors are blended
  8. Pour bean mixture into a food processor or blender
  9. Pulse until smooth
  10. Serve with tortilla chips
