White Garlic Sauce Pizza Recipe



1 bulb roasted garlic
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup heavy cream
1 heaping tbsp of ricotta cheese

1 store-bought pizza crust (or homemade)
half dried basil, fresh or dried basil
black pepper to taste
1/4 cup shredded fontina
1 small ball sliced mozzarella

  1. Roast one bulb of garlic in the oven as directed 
  2. In a small saucepan melt butter and whisk in flour
  3. Lower heat to medium and add one cup of heavy cream
  4. Continue to whisk until sauce is smooth and add ricotta cheese
  5. Add roasted garlic to the sauce, placing some to the side to top the pizza
  6. Blend sauce together in blender, Ninja or Nutri  Bullet
  7. Slice remaining garlic thin
  8. Roll out pizza dough and sprinkle with black pepper
  9. Preheat oven as directed
  10. Spread sauce over pie, leaving room for the crust
  11. Layout cheeses over pie
  12. Top with roasted garlic and spices
  13. Cook at 425 degrees for 12-18 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling
