Ingredients:
Sauce:
1 bulb roasted garlic
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup heavy cream
1 heaping tbsp of ricotta cheese
1 store-bought pizza crust (or homemade)
half dried basil, fresh or dried basil
black pepper to taste
1/4 cup shredded fontina
1 small ball sliced mozzarella
- Roast one bulb of garlic in the oven as directed
- In a small saucepan melt butter and whisk in flour
- Lower heat to medium and add one cup of heavy cream
- Continue to whisk until sauce is smooth and add ricotta cheese
- Add roasted garlic to the sauce, placing some to the side to top the pizza
- Blend sauce together in blender, Ninja or Nutri Bullet
- Slice remaining garlic thin
- Roll out pizza dough and sprinkle with black pepper
- Preheat oven as directed
- Spread sauce over pie, leaving room for the crust
- Layout cheeses over pie
- Top with roasted garlic and spices
- Cook at 425 degrees for 12-18 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling
