Ingredients:
2 cups of pancake batter
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 package small cocktail hot dog / weenie
2 cups of vegetable oil
- Heat oil to 350 degrees stove top
- Start with 2 cups of pancake batter in a bowl
- Add cornmeal to batter and whisk together
- Drop in mini hot dogs and coat in batter
- Drop coated hot dogs in oil and allow dogs to cook until golden brown and they float to the top (About 4-6 minutes)
- Put dogs down on paper towel to absorb excess oil
- Serve and enjoy!
