Garlic Chili Lime Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers

 

Marinade Ingredients:
1 tbsp of molasses
1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder to taste (about 1/4 of tsp each)
juice from 1 lime

Other Ingredients: 
1 lb of shrimp
2-3 cups of pineapple chunks
1 red onion chopped into large pieces
skewers

  1. Soak skewers for 10-15 minutes to avoid skewers from burning
  2. Mix together the ingredients for the marinade and move to the side
  3. Begin assembling skewers by adding shrimp, pineapple and onion in a repetitive order (approximately 3-4 shrimps, 2-3 chunks of pineapple and 3-4 pieces of onions per skewer)
  4. Pour marinade over the skewers making sure each one is covered
  5. Allow to site in the fridge until read to grill (at least 10-15 minutes)
  6. When ready to cook, lay out kabobs on a medium to high grill until shrimp is completely cooked through. You will know when the shrimp is pink all the way through. Cook time about 15 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
