1. Fill a large stock pot or sauce pot with water.
2. Add 1 tbsp of salt for ever ounce in the pot.
3. When the water reaches a rolling boil, drop in your lobster head first.
4. Cook your lobster for 8 minutes for the first pound then 1-2 minutes for every pound after.
5. You know the lobster is done when the lobster is a nice pinkish red color and the antennas pull out easily.
6. Drop the lobster in an ice bath to stop cooking.
