Garlic Butter Salmon In Foil – Baked Oven Recipe


1 large piece of salmon
salt and pepper to taste
pinch of thyme
4 thin slices of room temperature butter
one lemon (juice)
1-3 cloves chopped fresh garlic (to taste)
About 1-2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Place salmon over a piece of tin foil that is large enough to cover salmon
  3. Add spices and squeeze lemon juice over salmon
  4. Sprinkle chopped garlic and parsley over salmon
  5. Add lemon zest over top of the salmon and fold the foil tucking in all sides to avoid spilling
  6. Place foil wrap directly on the rack of your oven and cook for 15-20 minutes
  7. You will know the salmon is cooked when it easily flakes
  8. Enjoy!

*If cooking on the grill place the foil directly onto the grill and close the top. Cook for the same amount of time until the salmon easily flakes and pulls apart.
