Simple Homemade Pasta Bolognese

Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
3-4 cloves of garlic minced
1 white onion, chopped
3-4 stalks celery chopped
1 cup thick cut pancetta
1 tbsp butter
1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground veal
1 six ounce can tomato paste
parsley
oregano
salt and pepper
1/2 cup almond milk
1 cup chianti or dry red wine

 

  1. Heat olive oil in large pot
  2. Add garlic, onion and celery to the oil and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes on medium heat, stirring so it doesn’t burn
  3. Add pancetta and butter and mix well and allow to simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes
  4. Add ground pork and veal and mix with all ingredients in the pot
  5. Brown meat while stirring to avoid veggies from burning
  6. Add parsley, oregano and salt and pepper and tomato paste
  7. Add almond milk and wine and allow sauce to simmer covered for 1-2 hours stirring so sauce does not burn
  8. Serve over pasta and enjoy
