Ingredients:
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
cinnamon to taste
1 box puff pastry
1 egg for egg wash
- Melt butter in pan and add chopped apple and sugar and spices
- Cook on medium heat to begin cooking apples for about 5-10 minutes
- Move to a bowl and put aside allowing apples to cool
- Cut puff pastry into squares and preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Spoon in a scoop of mixture to the center of the square being careful not to overstuff
- Fold over corners to make a triangle shaped pocket
- Brush edges with an egg wash to secure
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with a tiny bit of white sugar
- Cook at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes
