This Cabbage Soup is simple to make and loaded with health benefits. This soup recipe can be utilized for the Cabbage Soup diet or just to enjoy for yourself. It can also be made in the crock pot or stove top, whichever you prefer!
1 head chopped cabbage
2 chopped green peppers
8-10 stalks chopped celery
2 chopped white onions
32 ounces beef broth
32 ounces vegetable stock
1 large can diced tomatoes
2 cups of water
2-3 bay leaves
2-3 cloves chopped garlic
basil, oregano, parsley and pepper to taste
- Chop all ingredients and add to either crock pot or pan.
- Add all wet ingredients and spices.
- Cover. If in a crock pot – cook on high for 5 hours, if stove top, cook on medium to high heat for 1 hour minimum.
