Ingredients:
12 Jalapeno Peppers
1 – 8 ounce package of cream cheese
2-3 Eggs beaten for egg wash
3-4 Cups bread crumbs
1 package phyllo dough
Olive oil
- Wash Jalapenos and cut the tops off of the peppers
- Slice from top to bottom down the side, open up and remove seeds
- Lay out phyllo dough, under plastic wrap and moist paper towel
- Spread cream cheese into pepper then wrap in sheet of phyllo dough
- Dip wrapped pepper in egg then into bread crumbs
- Brown on all sides stove top in hot olive oil
- Add browned peppers to baking sheet and cook in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes
- Enjoy!
