Ingredients:
1 Dozen Clams
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup water
Squirt of lemon juice
Chopped Garlic
Filling:
Chopped Garlic
1/2 Chopped Onion
2 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
Fresh chopped Oregano
Fresh chopped Parsley
Pepper
1/2 cup shaved Parmesan Cheese
Squirt of lemon juice
- Add first set of ingredients into a large pot to steam clams.
- Steam covered on medium heat for five to ten minutes until clams open. (Do not force clams open).
- Chop garlic and onion and saute stove top with olive oil.
- Chop fresh spices and add all ingredients to mixing bowl and blend together.
- Remove clams from pot and allow time to cool.
- Separate clam meat from shell, discard top half, and place meat back in bottom half of shell.
- Top clams with stuffing and drizzle with olive oil.
- Cook in a 350 degree oven until topping is browned.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and oregano and lemon juice.
- Serve! 🙂
