A Crab Stuffed Mushroom recipe perfect for parties or game day! This recipe is simple to make and one of my favorite ways to kick off a good meal. With no heavy creams, these bite size Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are lighter than other appetizers and are always a hit when served to guests! A perfect, classic appetizer for any time of the year!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup picked and drained crab meat
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/2-3/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 egg beaten
Parsley and Old Bay to taste
1 package Mushroom Caps
1/2 lemon squeezed
Garlic paste to taste
1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan Cheese
Italian cheese blend for top
- Chop all ingredients
- Mix together all ingredients including Parmesan cheese, old bay and parsley to taste
- Spray the bottom of a pyrex dish
- Stuff all mushrooms (overflowing) with stuffing
- Smother top with additional cheese blend (Italian cheeses)
- Sprinkle additional Old Bay and Parsley to taste
- Cook in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes until mushrooms looks soft and cheese is melted
