A tasty Fall Chili recipe that is easily made in a slow cooker or crock pot! Made with ground turkey, three white beans, peppers and a few other ingredients (cough cough Cinnamon). This recipe is perfect Game Day or Tailgating Food or for a cold chilly day! Not your typical chili recipe, this one offers unique flavors with less calories.
Ingredients:
1 package of ground turkey
1 can diced tomatoes
Mixture of red, green, yellow or orange pepper
Mixture of light beans – kidney, pink, pinto
1 Mild Banana Pepper
1-2 Jalapeno Peppers
1 Whole White Onion
Half of a can or bottle of beer
Garlic Powder
Pepper
Granulated Red Pepper
Chili Powder
Cumin
Salt
Cinnamon
- Brown turkey meat before adding to crock pot
- Chop all vegetables and add all ingredients including spices to taste
- Cover and simmer on low heat in crock pot for 4 hours
- Remove lid from crock pot for last hour to two hours
