Oktoberfest is coming to a close 🙁
Celebrate with this delicious and simple to make Beer Braised Brats and Cabbage Recipe! This recipe is a twist on the traditional bratwurst and cabbage recipes with a few extra ingredients and of course, lots of beer! I just love it. Prost!!! 🙂
Ingredients
One head of cabbage chopped
1 package Bratwurst
1 whole chopped onion
1/2 Cup Sherry
Half Bottle of Beer
Salt & Pepper
Sprinkle of Garlic
Coriander Seed
Tbsp. butter
Olive Oil
- Chop cabbage and onion
- In large pan or skillet coat with olive oil and begin to saute onion
- In a separate skillet brown sausage
- Add butter and cabbage
- Add sherry, beer and all spices
- Add sausage and let lower heat and cook until cabbage is soft allowing time to simmer together
- Serve on roll
